EPS Ambassador Program

The EPS Ambassador Program gives students a special opportunity to serve as leaders and role models within our school community. Kindergarten and 1st grade Ambassadors are selected by their homeroom teachers quarterly. Each second-grade teacher selects two students to serve for the year. All Ambassadors consistently demonstrate our school lifelines, show kindness and responsibility, and are willing to step outside their comfort zone to help others. Ambassadors are not chosen based on grades or academic performance; instead, this program recognizes students who demonstrate positive character and a willingness to contribute to our school. Students are selected approximately 5–6 weeks into the school year, after teachers have had time to get to know and observe them.

Throughout the year, EPS Ambassadors assist the principal with a variety of school activities. They help with monthly book readings, welcome and seat classes during convocations, and assist with special events such as Grandparents’ Day, Perfect Attendance Breakfasts, Breakfast Buddies, Kindergarten Registration, and other school activities. When serving as a second grade Ambassador, students wear a special blue Ambassador jacket and name tag, proudly representing EPS. Kindergarteners and First graders wear a special sash. We are excited to provide our students with this meaningful opportunity to develop leadership skills, serve others, and shine as positive examples for our school community.
